We went to the zoo. But didn't take picture with the animals except for the playground in the new kid's world, but we are not prepared for the water play even though they kept wanting to join in the splash. (Maybe the weather is just too hot, hahahaha) Thus we promise them that we will go back again for the water play.

This is really very fun!! They try on it for so many times!!!

It's our beloved "Ah Gu" birthday & he treated us to a buffet dinner cum karaoke to K-BOX. It's been a long long while since mummy & daddy last went to a karaoke, & also Hunter & Hurley's first visit. Both of them have fun snatching & shouting into the microphone.

Hunter sang till he was so tired that he fell asleep despite the singing going on.

Initially he dare not touch the baby crocodile.

After a while, he started to touch. The arm on the bottom right of the picture is Hunter's.

It's Hurley first overseas trip & Hunter second. We all had so much fun!!! Really..... especially Hunter who till date, since request us to bring him to Strawberry Park....... thought that Hurley will have problem adjusting to the coach ride, hotel etc..... but to our surprise, everything turns out well...... hehe..... am so glad..... & also really thanks Aunt Adeline for lending mummy the ergo carrier which proves to be so so so useful!!!!! Went to the Rose Garden, Cactus Valley, Vegetable Farm, Strawberry Farm, Flower Plantation, Boh Plantation, Butterfly & Insect Park, Bee Farm etc..... Save the explanation & just look at the tons of pictures!!!!!

Started the playgroup with free play using the different art materials.

Next is music time follow by story time. Aunt Shirley reads the '10 Little Rubber Ducks' by Eric Carle.

Then its craft time. Hurley's end product of a fluffly little duck!!

Hehe..... can't get enough of Aunt Shirley reading......

Then, Aunt Pauline showed us a hat that she made & mummy decided to try it on me..... so cute right??

On our way back, we saw some kiddy rides & cousin Jireh decided to treat Hurley to the rides!! Thanks!!!

National Day Celebration

We are invited to Hunter's school for a National Day celebration which consists of a mini float parade. And we are requested to dress in red & white. This time round, when Hunter saw us, he didn't cry nor fuss to be with us. He even smile & wave to us...... that proves that he grown...... we are so proud & delighted......

His school principal trying to act as 'The First Lady of Serangoon"........ this really make everyone laughssssssssssss till jaws drop............. just looking at the picture is enough......

Then, followed by singing of the national athem, flag raising & pledge saying. After that, the mini-concert begin. Each class had a mini float(handmade by the kids, really impressive) to be pushed out followed by their performance. (Howver, did not mange to capture all the floats, cus' camera no battery, sigh........)

Needless to say, that's our lovely boy during his performance.

Went to Aunt Pauline's house for their weekly playgroup session. Hehe....

Upon reaching, Hurley sat beside Cousin Jireh.... hehe..... to enjoy their free play while waiting for the others.

Then, we had percussion learning session by Aunt Evelyn. She even handmade those shakers for us.

Paying attention to what Aunt Evelyn is saying.

Exploring the different types of percussion. Aren't i greedy!!! Hahaha......

After that, it's storytime but mummy didn't manage to capture any picture. (As usual, she's busy handling 'sticky' Hurley)

Art session time....... first for Hurley....... going to make tissue collage

At the end of the session, we had tasty & delicious oreo cheesecake made by Aunt Pauline. She's a very good cook!!!! Hurley even requested for more after she finish the entire slice of cake. Hahahaha...............

As usual, after all the fun, Hurley doesn't want to go home...... so let her play for a while more ..... Cousin Jireh teaching her the names of all the animals......

Family Day at the Bottle Tree Park

Daddy's company had a family day at the bottle tree park & the first thing we do was longkang fishing. It was just so fun. But daddy simply refuse to let both kids into the water. He say it was too dangerous cus very slippery. Sigh.......... (just too protective right??)

Hurley keep wanting to fish & thus daddy had to hold her & let her attempt to fish.

Then, it's Hunter's turn

Meanwhile, our clever little gal starts to fish in the small little tank instead....... hahaha

After which, Hunter went to make a shrink art keychain. He had to color the picture & then the picture will be shrink using a toaster oven & be made into a keychain.

Then, Hunter went for the bouncy castle & playgrounds while daddy & Hurley enjoy the swing.

After the outdoor play, look at Hunter's 'lobster' like face..... it turns so red that it captures so many people attention. Hehe...... so, thirst quenching time........ whenever Hunter drinks, Hurley will request too......

Then during a karaoke competition, both of them went up the stage to dance..... no joke..... dance...... hahahaha...............

Hunter is down with hives, a kind of allergy. Actually it started abt 2 weeks back and only on his legs but he recovered. But this time round was more serious & it was all over his legs & hands. See only my heart pains. Don't know what caused the allergy & his PD says that even if we bring him for allergy test, it might not have result.

Went with the Artful Lil' Hands playgroup to Jacob Ballas Childrens' Garden. Had sandplay first & there Hurley observing Cousin Jireh playing with sand. Guess cus' she is still feeling sleepy.

After that, went for water play..... which was Hurley's first water play...... daddy always feel that she is still too young for it whereas Hunter had his first when he was like 8mths old? Haha...... daddy is simply too protective.........

Hurley took part in the Baby Singapore 2008 contest & won a consolation prize. This contest is unlike other baby contest where the parent bring the baby up the stage. It involve a set of requirements that include weight against height, speech, reaction towards the assigned doctor, x-factor, walkability, no. of teeth, on formula or breastfeeding, etc. (Can't remember all) That's why we felt that it's not really a fair contest but somehow, we still manage to won something. Hehe....

Had an early birthday present!!

Can you all identify the cutie in the picture? It's Hurley!! (If cannot see clearly, pls click on the picture) She appears in 1 of the fashion page of the Young Parents Baby Magazine. Didn't know that the picture will turn out so adorable!! Simply loves it!!!!! Hehe =P

Children's Day Celebration

Hunter had his first children's day celebration in Pats Schoolhouse & it was indeed a very memorable one. Not only he enjoyed, Hurley, daddy & myself enjoyed too!! Hehe.......

The celebration started with a mass dance with the whole school invloved.

Then the water throwing custom similar to the Songkran festival celebrated by the thai community.

After that, the day was spend with lots of water & bubble fun!! Water slide, water gun, bubbles & their own Serangoon bubble spa!! Oh ya, and his teachers handmade a photoframe & photo badge for him as gift & a book from Mrs Koh.

Went to send Uncle Foo Han & Auntie Ann off at the airport & went for lunch at the Thai restaurant.

We actually stayed up on 13th just to wait for 12am to struck so can wish daddy happy birthday but who knows he works late till abt 2am then he came back.

We slept late but wake up very early to go to the bird park!!

Celebrated biao-di's 1st birthday & all of us love his cute birthday cake.

And there is this play area for kids which is such a brilliant idea to help keep the kids occupied. So, Hunter took the opportunity and ride on one of Jireh's birthday present too!

Just a look and you know how much he enjoyed. All thanks to Aunt Shirley smart idea of having the play area!
